Another outstanding show

Worth School

A group of our talented Drama scholars put on an outstanding performance of The Crucible across two nights in the studio space of the Spencer Building this week.

The students produced an excellent version of Arthur Miller’s acclaimed play which was cut down to just over an hour in length. The production achieved fast-paced action coupled with an immersive and intimate experience, as we witnessed John Proctor wrestle with the very core of his morality in the face of the infamous Salem witch trials.

The show was the Worth directorial debut of Mr Matthew Wellman, who joined the Drama department this academic year. Mr Wellman was incredibly proud of his students for an amazing show.

Worth’s Drama department is renowned for the quality of its productions. Our next show in the 250-seat Performing Arts Centre theatre will be the Middle School production of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe from March 22-24.
