Another good week for our athletes

It has been great to see athletes from throughout the school competing in a variety of competitions and producing some excellent performances.

In the past week the School has fielded Year 7 and 8 teams in invitational meetings for girls, last Wednesday, and boys, last Friday. Also, Worth had Juniors, Inters and Seniors competing in the second round of the Sussex Independent Schools Diamond League at the K2 in Crawley last Saturday when there were a number of podium finishes and personal bests.

Among the highlights was a win for the 4x100m Junior Boys team and a victory for Gigi in the Inters Girls 200m. The spirit of Worth also shone through with Elliot running all bar the first 300m of his Junior Boys 1500m with only one show after the other fell off and still managing to come second.
