Another fascinating weekend trip

Pupils in Years 11 to 13 enjoyed a fascinating trip at they went to The Observatory Science Centre at Herstmonceux last Saturday as part of our weekends entertainment programme.

The Observatory provides hands-on science among the domes and telescopes of a world-famous astronomical observatory.

Also last weekend there was a Saturday morning lecture for Years 9 and 10 which focused on school values and personal values, as well as doing some work on introverts, extroverts and ambiverts. Each pupil chose two values that were the most important to them and created a poster to reflect and record how they are going to live out those values in the weeks, months and years ahead.

The Saturday evening programme last weekend included a Matriculation Ball for Year 12 as well as events for other year groups. There was a bingo night on Friday while on Sunday there was an opportunity to try out airsoft.

The weekends programme at Worth opens up a huge range of opportunities for both boarders and day pupils and also underlines our commitment to being a seven-day-a-week boarding school.
