Another fabulous concert

Worth’s musicians celebrated this term’s music making with a fabulous Ensembles Concert in the Abbey Church.

There were performances from the Symphony Orchestra, Concert Band, Camerata, Chamber Choir, saxophone, clarinet, brass and jazz ensembles plus the string trio.

A wide range of repertoire ranged from Elgar’s famous ‘Nimrod’ from his ‘Enigma Variations’ played by the Symphony Orchestra to classic jazz numbers including ‘Woodchopper’s Ball’ to rock and pop arrangements played by the Concert Band and Brass Band, including Michael Jackson’s ‘Thriller’.
