Another excellent term for sport

Fri, Apr 21st, 2023
Worth School

Another excellent term for sport at Worth was celebrated with the presentation of Colours, Half Colours and individual awards at the end of the Lent Term.

Most Improved Player and Most Valuable Player trophies were presented to each team across boys’ hockey, netball and football, which are the predominant sports in the Lent Term.

Colours and Half Colours are the highest honours on a sporting front at the School. Presentations were made for the Lent Term sports as well as some additional rugby awards following the rugby sevens season which culminated with an excellent showing at the National Sevens.

A special mention was made of the U15B football team for an unbeaten season which resulted in them finishing as league champions. Winners’ medals were presented to the team.

Congratulations to all students who received trophies, medals, Colours and Half Colours for the Lent Term and well done to anyone who represented the School.
