House Shout, where students from all nine senior Houses come together to sing, was another evening full of entertainment, creativity and fun music-making.
This event is the first part of our annual House Music competition, with House Bands taking place later in the academic year.
Performing the Finesse remix by Bruno Mars and Cardi B, St Catherine’s were winners of House Shout for a second successive year. St Bede’s and Farwell were joint second.
The adjudicator for the evening was David Swinson, Director Emeritus of Trinity Boys’ Choir, conductor, adjudicator and organist/pianist. Praising our students, Mr Swinson said: “It has been a fantastic evening. When you come to the end of your wedding day your face hurts as you have smiled so much. That is how I will feel when I leave here.
“I have heard so many things about this school. Now I have been here, I can see for myself how brilliant it is.”
Here is a selection of pictures from the evening.
