Co-curricular activities at Worth are an essential ingredient to life at Worth, complementing academic studies and helping to shape our pupils.
Every week there is a broad range of more than 150 activities, clubs and societies for pupils to choose from in dedicated periods, with something on offer for everyone.
Our weekends programme is also designed to further the educational experience, offering a variety of organised trips, social evenings, activities, clubs and societies, dedicated study support sessions, volunteering opportunities and sports fixtures.
The highlights of our programme this weekend include a ten pin bowling trip on Saturday, an ice skating outing on Sunday and an opportunity to go scuba diving on both days.
The weekend at Worth starts on Friday with the latest talk in the Spencer Lecture Series, when Dr Duncan Pring will talk about the Mayan civilisation, followed by all 10 Houses involved in House Bands, which is the second part of our House Music competition.
Another feature of the weekend programme will be the Worth Leadership Formation, which is a preparation course for Year 12 students for the selection of prefects.
There are lots of study support classes taking place and among the other options this weekend are charity shop volunteering, horse riding, swimming and Worth Watching, our news, video and young reporter society.
On the sporting front, there is a block of 11 representative football fixtures against Christ’s Hospital on Saturday afternoon and seven netball fixtures, also away to Christ’s Hospital.
