Worth launches humanitarian aid project
Students and other members of the Worth community are being asked to support a humanitarian aid project which involves donating much-needed items for refugees in Calais.
The Forerunners, the youth ministry team at Worth, is supporting Help Refugees by planning to deliver a bus load of supplies to refugees in Calais on the first weekend in November.
Help Refugees is a humanitarian aid movement aimed at providing a flexible and fast response to genuine needs of refugees around the world.
One of the Forerunners team, Therese Vooght, is organising a collection of specific items of clothing, food, bedding, hygiene goods and other equipment which she is asking to be delivered to the Chaplaincy immediately after half-term.
