Hannah gains place at Royal Academy of Music
Year 13 student Hannah Teasdale has gained a place at London’s prestigious Royal Academy of Music, where she will be studying for at least the next three years.
Hannah is one of Worth’s most active Music Scholars. She not only plays in the orchestra and various chamber ensembles, she also sings in the Abbey Choir, Schola and Choral society.
Hannah recently played the solo viola in a performance with the orchestra of Hoffmeister’s viola concerto.
Director of Music Mr Michael Oakley is extremely proud of Hannah’s achievement. He said: “Immensely hard working and innately musical, Hannah has a bright musical future ahead of her.”
Last week Hannah performed in assembly. To listen to her performance watch this YouTube clip: https://youtu.be/MDC0qI8Wq_s
