Girls progress in national competition

Congratulation to Worth girls for a 3-2 win yesterday in the first round of the English Schools’ Football Association National U18s Trophy away to Haberdashers' Aske Academy.

This was Worth’s debut in this national competition. Amber scored a hat-trick, including a late winner with a penalty. They will now face either Cardinal Newman or Steyning in the next round.

Last Sunday the girls competed in the ISFA National Sevens at Charterhouse on Sunday. After finishing third in their group they qualified for the Plate competition where they beat Notting Hill and Ealing 4-0 in the quarter-final before a tight semi-final contest.
