Gervase House students recognised for progress
Gervase House students have been praised for their excellent work in the Autumn Term.
The House underwent a transformation at the start of the 2017-18 academic year as it moved location on the campus and reverted to being a House for boys in Year 9 to 13, having for a few years been a Year 13 boys’ House.
When Active Learning certificates were presented in assembly this week, Gervase was announced as the Most Improved House while Year 13 student Giuseppe Moscarello received a certificate for the most improved student in his Year Group.
New Housemaster Mr Alick Macleod, who returned to the School at the start of the academic year, said: “I am delighted that the Gervase boys have won the Most Improved House for Active Learning. I am particularly pleased as every single boy has contributed to this accolade, with grades in all subjects counted from Year 9 to Year 13. This bodes particularly well as the exam season looms ever closer.”
Head of Gervase Fred Greenslade collected the Most Improved House certificate on behalf of all students in the House.
