Witness For The Prosecution

The senior school production of Agatha Christie's Witness For The Prosecution in December 2018 was another fantastic show. Students rose to the challenge to show off their skills in a play where the language and speech are the heart of the show, with much of the focus being on the voice as opposed to movement. The production was inspired by Film Noir, creating the costumes, make-up and set to fit with the theme of old black and white movies. Pictures by Howard Griggs.

Showstoppers

In May 2018, Inspire – Worth’s own theatre company which is made up of all of the drama scholars from Years 7 to 13 – performed ‘Showstoppers’ which was a production of short extracts from their favourite plays/musicals/films including The Play That Goes Wrong, Les Miserables and The Greatest Showman. Twelfth Night

A compelling tale, a great cast and with a unique 1920s setting, the middle school production of Twelfth Night captured the heart of Shakespeare comedy. The students had the audience in stitches over the two nights of the play in the Performing Arts Centre. Pictures by Stephen Candy (www.StephenCandyPhotography.co.uk).

Rock of Ages

The senior school production of Rock of Ages in December 2017 was another superb effort by students and the Drama department. Funny, colourful and totally engaging, it was thoroughly enjoyed by a packed PAC on each of the three nights. Here are some pictures by Emma Duggan.
